Organic farming is a method of production of crop that involves much more than choosing not to use pesticides, fertilizers, genetically modified organisms, antibiotics and growth hormones. The main aim of organic production is to develop enterprises that are sustainable and harmonious with the environment.

Within the scope of organic products, reliability and visibility is a must for us that’s why we provide up-to-date and accurate information for our all operations. We control and certify every process. Nimeks produces raw materials not only on its own land, but in also on more than 1500 contracted organic project areas with more than 750 contracted farmers.

Our cultivation plan is high standard of field management and the presence of independent inspection and certification of the control body which is CCPB/IMC. In cooperation with them, we guarantee an organic product cultivated with care and processed organically. Also, Nimeks has UTZ certificate for our organic hazelnut and organic dried apricot projects. In addition, we have Fair for Life Certificate for our dried figs.

To ensure organic integrity, our agricultural engineers monitor and provide consultancy to contracted farmers. We, as Nimeks, are firmly committed to ensure that our consumers can trace all products to their source with transparency.

  • 6.750 decares organic dried apricot project area with 47 farmers.
  • 7850 decares organic raisin project area with 19 farmers.
  • 10.247 decares organic hazelnuts project area with 400 farmers.
  • And the others total 7147 decares organic project areas.
